Toranoto is a 1993 Black and White Overo Stallion standing 15.1 hh. He is double registered with the American Paint and the American Pinto Horse Associations. He has been UC- Davis tested to be homozygous for the black color. This means he has a very strong black gene and cannot produce a sorrel or chestnut foal regardless of the mares color.
He was bred and born in New York State. He was owned by on elderly lady and therefore did not stand to the public, he was only exposed to a few of her own mares. There he proved to produce lots of colorful Paint babies to Paint, Quarter Horse and Thoroughbred mares. During this time Toranoto was shown by the owners' daughter and achieved numerous points in Halter, Western Pleasure and Overo Color Classes.
Toranoto is a very quiet, good tempered, well built horse with a huge hip and massive chest. His pedigree is full of loud black and white horses many generations back on both sides. He is standing at a fee of $500. We can breed your mares live, here on our farm or you can have semen shipped to your door.
